In 2003 I was in a particularly creative mood so what better way than to make something with my hands. My itching to do something led me into creating handmade soap, and soon after, other body treats like lotions and body butters followed. My experimentation and research gave me insight to actually learn what ingredients were in commercial products that consumers purchase and use every day. To say that I was surprised is an understatement. Some of things that we used, that I thought would help our skin, were actually contributing to some problems that my oldest daughter had been suffering from eczema.     It was at that point that I realized how much control that I had over the ingredients that were in the products that my family used on a daily basis and at that point I set out to change my family’s health for the better.  My commitment to producing skin loving products is so strong that I made a heart-felt decision to return back to school to learn about every aspect of the human skin, and I am now a licensed esthetician.

     Creating batches of creamy bubbly soaps, luxurious body scrubs, lush body butters and any other bath goodies that my mind could think of was pure nirvana. I can't tell you how many times I have stayed up until the wee hours of morning mixing oils and butter and testing different consistencies to see how they felt on my skin. Oh...did I mention the countless friends and family who I have enlisted as testers? To my surprise and delight they've enjoyed my concoctions and provide me with wonderful feedback that I truly take to heart.

     Everything that comes out of The Bubble Works Lab is made with care and love from my hand to yours and I hope that you enjoy every bit of it!
